STIEGLITZ MAKES ABRAHAM YELL “UNCLE”
Getec Arena, Magdeburg, Germany– Robert Stieglitz (44-3, 25 KOs) TKO 3 Arthur Abraham (36-4, 28 KOs) (WBO 168 lb. title) Stunner as Abraham, albeit being roughed up a bit up in a “give and take” foul fest with Stieglitz leading with his forehead and Arthur majoring in rabbit punches. AA wants a rematch and says he gave up because of a rapidly closing eye. Stieglitz-Abraham are now 1-1 and both seem open to a third scrap.

STICK A FORK IN KERMIT THE ATHLETE

Unpopular score and Cintron, never a great fighter, more like a good athlete who came to boxing late in life, isn’t getting any better.
CANADIAN CARD HAS PAIR OF SPLIT DECISION DRAWS
Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada– (Wealth TV) Adonis Stevenson (20-1, 17 KOs) KO 6 Darnell Boone (19-21-3, 9 KOs) Adonis avenges lone loss vs. Boone whose claim to fame is dropping World champ Andre Ward early on as a pro. Time was 2:43.
DON GEORGE CAN’T GET THE MAIL DELIVERED!
Don George (24-3-2, 21 KOs) SD Draw 10 David Lopez (41-13-1, 23 KOs) If George were a mailman, he’d be fired for not delivering. Same mindset when it comes to George the fighter. Lopez, who went the route with World champ Austin Trout came to win.
