SHOWTIME WINS PUTS DIRRELL BACK IN 168 MIX

Abraham (31-1, 25 KOs) after being dominated by Dirrell (19-1, 13 KOs) the first two rounds was dropped in the fourth and cut over the right eye in the seventh. A desperate Abraham caught and dropped Dirrell in the tenth although it was erroneously called a slip. In the next round, Dirrell slipped and was knocked senseless by Abraham while on a knee. The referee Laurence Cole had no other option but to disqualify a shocked Abraham at 1:13 of the eleventh. Scores at the time were 97-92 twice and 98-91 for Dirrell.
