TOMASZ ADAMEK LED NBC SPORTS CARD BOXING “CHALKBOARD”
Curtis Stevens
NBC SPORTS NETWORK CARD LIKE “CHALKBOARD”
Uncasville, Connecticut, Mohegan Sun Casino– Tomasz Adamek (49-2, 29 KOs) UD 10 Dominick Guinn (34-10 -1, 23 KOs) (Heavyweights) Dear Promoter Kathy Duva: Poor card considering Main Events put this on. Adamek is not a upper echelon guy, but he has great drawing ability with east coast Polacks! Scores: 98-92 & 99-91 twice. Guinn did what they wanted in that he showed up and impersonated a professional boxer.
TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM CHAMBERS SCRAP
Thabiso Mchunu (14-1, 10 KOs) UD 10 Eddie Chambers (36-4, 18 KOs) ( 200) Chambers drops a few lbs. to cruiserweight (200) and gets out worked from bell to bell. Because of the weight, I said stay away from betting 9-5 favorite. Scores: 97-93 & 99-91 twice. Mchunu us ranked #7 at 200 lbs. by the WBC.
STEVENS STIFLES STIFF!
Curtis Stevens (25-3, 18 KOs) KO 1 Saul Roman (37-10, 31 KOs) vs (160) One left hook dropped journeyman Roman who got up before being chilled by a follow up left hook. Stevens is not much. Unbeaten world champion Gennady Golovkin has him for lunch!
