MARTINEZ #1 P4P? FREDDIE ROACH’S QUOTES!

JUST FOLLOWING FREDDIE’S EDICT

San Francisco, CA– According to trainer Freddie Roach, you grade a fighter on “his last two fights.” If that is true, then Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 KOs) is the P4P king of boxing. My reasoning is that Sergio beat two “elite” guys in Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams, while Manny Pacquiao, Roach’s fighter, he faced a “non thrower” in Joshua Clottey and a has been in Antonio Margarito. Repeating Mr. Roach, “look at his last two fights.” If Sergio beats Serhiy Dzinziruk (37-0, 23 KOs), even the Pacman fans will have to admit, “Sergio has beaten a better level of fighters period!”
