Mikkel Kessler-Carl Froch

ESPN2 & TEDDY ATLAS AT FOXWOODS

Uncasville, CT- Mohegan Sun Casino (ESPN2) Delvin Rodriguez (27-6-3, 15 KOs) vs. Freddy Hernandez (30-4, 20 KOs) (154 lb.) Odds/Prediction: Rodriquez 12-5. Favorite is “house” fighter. Looks like this could slice either way but lean to Delvin.

Chris Howard (15-2-1, 7 KOs) vs Issouf Kinda (16-0, 6 KOs) (140 lb.) Odds/Prediction: 6-5 either way. Appears too close to make a pick.

O2 Arena, London, UK- (HBO) Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KOs) vs Mikkel Kessler (46-2, 35 KOs) (IBF 168 lb. title) Odds/Prediction: Froch 2-1. Kessler beat Froch in 2011, so why is Brit favored? Better form of late and fighting at home. In battle for #2 slot to World champ Andre Ward, will lay $400 on Froch to walk with $600.

Issouf Kinda (16-0, 8 KOs) vs Chris Howard (15-2-1, 7 KOs) (140 lb.) Odds/Prediction: Kinda 11-5. Kinda has house “backing” here, Howard appears to be easy foe with pedestrian record.

WBO TITLE TIFF IN ARGENTINA

Argentina- Champion Omar Andres Narvaez (38-1-2, 20 KOs) vs Felipe Orucuta (27-1, 23 KOs) (WBO 115 lb. title) Odds/Prediction: Omar 9-5. Boring Omar has game foe. But southpaw champ tough to beat, only Nonito Donaire did at 118, and unless Orucuta gets “lightning in a bottle,” he’s losing on points I think.
