WHITE TOOK FLIGHT WHEN “WHITEY” THREATENED HIM
San Francisco, CA- When UFC President Dana White was “leaned on” for protection money by a Boston mobster’s thugs, this in the 1990s, the man who ran the Mob family was James “Whitey” Bulger. It was just a couple of months ago that Bulger was arrested in Southern California and charged with, among other things, 19 murders. Dana White talks a good game, but unlike a lot of people, Dana can fight a little. If you recall, ex-UFC champ Tito Ortiz pulled out of a three round boxing match with White a few years ago, claiming this and that, but Tito never asked to reschedule the fight.

Recently the judge presiding over Bulger’s case released some ominous photographs detailing the guns and money Bulger, now 81, had stashed away. If you do some research on Bulger, you can see why White took flight instead of fighting with Whitey’s gang, this after they demanded “protection money” from then boxing gym owner White. I’ve posted two of the photos here and left a link to look at the arsenal and money Bulger had at the time of his arrest. All I can say is after looking into Bulger, we might not have the UFC had he not put the squeeze on Dana White.
