Dear Mr. Mendoza,
Hope this letter finds you and the family well! The reason I am writing you today is to improve Showtime’s Strikeforce ratings and that of the network overall. Unlike the vast majority of writers posing as journalists, I know the number of viewers that Showtime garners when it comes to your MMA fights put on by Strikeforce. That being said, if you follow the following suggestions, you will improve the Strikeforce viewer ship numbers, and do something no other Showtime sports head has been able to do and that is increase the overall number of people subscribing to Showtime. This is akin to you having a “platinum” bargaining chip when it comes to negotiating your next contract.
RONDA ROUSEY IS THE “MMA GODESS”
Gina Carano was the “queen” of ratings when it came to Strikeforce ratings. Truth be told, Gina is now a Hollywood star who if she were to return to Strikeforce MMA might again draw record ratings. But the reality is that Ronda Rousey ia “no” Hollywood gimmick. She is beautiful, as articulate as a young Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) and above all she can fight at a level no other female fighter has in recent memory.
CONSIDER THIS SENOR MENDOZA
If you take the advice of me and MMA guru/genius Dave Meltzer, you will not only approve of, but you will sponsor Ronda Rousey headlining the next UFC FOX Network date. Not only will the females turn out in mass, but also the curiosity of the male viewer will be so intriguing that the Showtime numbers, if promoted correctly, will go through the roof the next time out. If Ronda Rousey is the hit I think she can be in front of two million households on FOX, then by stating she fights exclusively on Showtime, that this will be similar to Showtime striking gold in a dry creek!
ESPINOZA AN INTLEGENT SOLE
Stephen Espinoza is no square. But I doubt if somebody has put him in the place that the words of myself and WrestlingObserver.com creator Dave Meltzer can. If you’re as smart as I think, you’ll allow Ronda Rousey to headline the next FOX TV presentation of the UFC. I am certain this will bring about more Showtime subscribers than anything outside of making Showtime free to the viewing world could. Look, outside of hiring me, this is by far the best move Showtime, the network could ever make.
