Here you will read about all the greats and the scum in not only today’s boxing world, but through out history! These are the ficghters that prevailed and some that just flat out failed! Comments are always welcomed as always!
If I had previously written this (my appology) but in 2006 we fought Lil Stevie Johnston in Florida (promoted by Silver Hawk). We lost the fight by UD (which I totally agree with the decission)BUT the next morning I am out front of the Hotel and a judge (assigned to my fight, as I manage fighters) came up to me (I never approached him) and said, “Great fight last night, I had Harris up in the end but had to go with your guy, as he was favored”.. I replied, “I felt you made the right call on the score cards by voting Johnston the winner” and by the way “I manage Tyrone Harris, not Johnston, but I felt Johnston won”.. Without even a facial expression of “Boy did I say the wrong thing” he invited me to dinner the next time I was in Florida.. Then asked me to snap a picture of him, his daughter, and son-in-law (which I did).. This judge was old and (although a very nice man) should have retired fifteen minutes prior to the Tyrone Harris VS Stevie Johnston bout. I shall mention no names but his initials are Steuart……….. I laughted inside and kinda felt sorry for him (but only for a second) then I wanted to tell him exactly what I thought but couldn’t because he did make the right choice as winner BUT for all the wrong reasons……………………………..

If you are looking for members of your “Wall of Fame” please consider Larry “Bear” Bradley of the Pac North West. He has dedicated 50 years to boxers, both amateurs and pros.. He works trains fighters, works others corners (when needed) and usually for little or no pay. This guy is a Native American and too meet him is too love him. A Grandfatherly type, knowledge never-ending and a heart of gold. Please, please look at this guy, he has “Wall of Fame” written all over him. Did I mention he is utilized as a cut man as well……………..Just a great guy with a great attitude..You got my vote Bear……..GB

We all (in Arizona) , know the Dirty BOXING COMISSION, led to thte downfall of boxing in Az over the last 3 years! Snakes,it’s a pit, removing one snake at a time has almost bankrupted Top Level Gym,and caused many boxers to give uup on boxing careers. Ruined a few (at least my marriage) by totally destroying dreams of many that were so hard worked for! SKUM. TURNS ON SKUM in the end.A Godd samaritain found a badly injured snake and took him home nurtured him back to health and then was bitten by the snake..the only thing the snake could say to the farmer was “You knew I was a snake when you took me home”
