Dam Sam, calm down! Way better than pac my ass! Maybe better then the version of Pac that was slappin barrera around for the first time! lol...Don't get me wrong, Valero is good. But he has to clean up around his weight class or take on the top dog like JMM at 135 before he gets anywhere that kind of recognition. I see Ali Funeka given him a good run for his money at lightweight. At 140, you got Bradley, Malignaggi, Khan, Devon Alexander, a bunch of other guys that would test him. Now go look at Pac's resume all the way back to 03 and come back and tell me that Valero is better then Pac. Here's a hint. The guys that would test Valero today, pale in comparison to what you will find on Pac's resume IMO.

That was a huge cut that Valero suffered, here in the USA they would have stopped that fight. I kept thinking that Valero vs Pac would make for a great battle if Valero can carry 145.

Valero looks like the real deal, even though this is the first time I've seen a full fight of his. I've only seen clips of other fights. Let's not jump the gun here. To be great you have to consistently test yourself and beat top fighters. I think has has the opportunity to do many good things. I read where he is having trouble making 135 and will move up to 140 where he has some good challengers like Malignagi, Bradley, and some other guys. I wouldn't mind seeing him and JMM go at it also. Time will tell with Valero, but he does look to have the goods.
