  • Joe should have never been boxing. He was damn near blind in one eye

  • Why is the establishment trying to “demonize” Al Haymon ? He put Boxing on the forefront and gets big money for fighters… If he gets people around him paid including fighters, I’m all for it! As long as he has some good matchups, and not continuous phony bologne mismatched fights, then I’m interested to see what Al Haymon can do!
    Thurman vs Ghost
    Garcia vs Rod Salka…just kidding
    Garcia vs Peterson
    And now Broner vs Porter…
    These are good quality matchups!

  • Enjoyed the show, as always, however concerning Adrien Broner and his upcoming fight, I was hoping to hear more info regarding Broner’s lack of discipline and his obvious substance problem that (IMO) will ultimately lead to his downfall as a serious prizefighter… https://youtu.be/CAjSvfokC4I

  • For all the good, bad, and indifferent things Cosell said and did, he will be forever linked to his repeated cry “Down goes Frazier!” It transcends boxing. A few years ago, the actor Kelsey Grammer star of the TV show “Frasier” tried to show how serious an actor he was by putting on a production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth in New York. The New York Times thought it stunk, and the nasty headline they used for the review was: “Down goes Frasier!” Malicious!

As for Gatti’s blood on the handbag strap–I wonder if there was a nosebleed. I believe ( correct me if I’m wrong) hanging spikes the blood pressure in the head (swollen tongue) so it is possible an old, wounded blood vessel in his nose burst. Well, just a thought, though an ugly one
