Las Vegas, NV- Yonnhy Perez UD 12 Joseph Agbeko (IBF 118 lb. title) It was all action as Perez (20-0, 14 KOs) scored a unanimous decision over Agbeko (27-2, 22 KOs) after 12. These wide scores were off, as 116-111, 117-110 twice were too much.

WORLD RANKED LIGHTWEIGHT MISMATCH

Antonio Demarco KO 10 Jose Alfaro (WBC interim 135 lb. title) Demarco (23-1-1, 17 KOs) mercilessly pummeled Alfaro (23-5, 20 KOs) .The unnecessary beating was stopped at 2:07 of the tenth.

AUSTIN REBOUNDS WITH WIN

Ray Austin KO 4 DaVarryl Williamson. It may have taken four rounds, but Ray (28-4=4, 18 KOs) stopped a woefully outclassed Williamson (26-6, 22 KOs). A battle of “fringe” heavyweights sees the winner dominate.

Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina- Hector Saldivia KO 7 Luis Rodriguez. Saldivia (31-1, 24 KOs) takes out Luis Rodriguez (26-4-1, 17 KOs) in seven. Time was not available.

CAMACHO-CAMPAS MAIN EVENT STUNK

El Paso, TX- Hector Camacho Jr. SD 10 “Yory Boy” Campas. In a foul plagued and clinch filled fight where an out of shape Camacho Jr. (50-3-1, 27 KOs) was penalized three points for separate fouls won a decision over the one-time champion Campas (92-15-1, 74 KOs). Scores were 95-92 & 96-91 for Jr. and 95-92 for Campas. Another poor performance for referee Laurence Cole.

ESCALANTE LOOKING CALIENTE!

Antonio Escalante KO 2 Carlos Fulgencio. Escalante (22-2, 14 KOs) scored a stunning second round knockout over Fulgencio (11-4-1, 7 KOs). In an exciting round with both boxers landing big shots, Fulgencio was knocked down, tried to get up but fell back to the canvas and the fight was stopped at 1:17.

David Medina UD 8 Miguel Hernandez. Medina (21-2, 10 KOs) outworked journeyman Hernandez (20-10, 10 KOs) over eight uneventful rounds. Unanimous scores were 80-72, 79-73, 78-74.

“WHITE HOPE” BEATS ANOTHER STIFF!

Edmonton, Canada- Tye Fields KO 3 Glane Brown. Elongated Fields (43-2, 39 KOs) had an easy night knocking out Brown (32-13-1, 19 KOs) at 1:32 of #3.
