Paulie is adopting the age-old tried-and-true strategy of taunting and insulting his way into contention for a big money fight. This strategy worked against boxing’s last superstar, ODLH, but it won’t work against Pac. ODLH fell into the trap of trying to appease the haters and nay-sayers, and of course he was doomed to failure, because they will always find something to say “no” about. I don’t think Pac is going to fall into the same trap. Pac is protected from the American press by the fact that he spends alot of his time in the Philippines. So, all the trolling doesn’t get to him in the way that it got to ODLH.

Wow Frances seems like Paulie must be giving you some of that Scilian Sausage! Who made Mr.Pillow fist a expert on whether someone is juicing or not.Once his name was out the running to be Pac’s opponent he became a finger pointer like the Mayweathers, even in previous articles agreeing with their opinon’s on Manny.I wonder Frances do you also believe that Manny is taking that stuff they give the Fillipino Army(you know the stuff Mayweather sr said lets you get shot by a 45 caliber and get right back up)?Also saying Manny has no skill ! How can someone really take you serious after that statement Im not a journalist but this piece is rumor or gossip page worthy.We should be thankful we have two great welter weight fights coming up in the next month or so,but I cant help but wonder who Money would have fought if Berto would not have had to pull out of that fight?You have a guy in Pacquaio who like Mayweather started boxiing at the same weight,they are about the same age ,who moved up many weight divisions,even though Mayweather fought at 154.I could understand if there was a red flag on one of manny test but there has not been one .Why all the accusations without any evidence?Steriods couldnt help Fernando Vargas chin when when he was on the roids right Frances.To me the situation surrounding the Mayweather Pacquaio fight was suspect they came to a money agreement very quickly then Floyd does not want to fight at Cowboy Stadium in front of 100,000 people come on!Hey Frances wouldnt you want your work seen by 100,000 people instead of 18,000? This is were all the excuses started for Floyd.Dont get me wrong I think Floyd is a great fighter but his act is getting tiresome about him all of the sudden cleaning up the sport ,he should start by cleaning up the people who are around him(shooting at people over a text message)thats buffonery,and here we got a guy in Manny who wants to help his people and on top of that has been fighting top competitors along the way…. the late great pugilist PANCHO VILLA, the first filipino and first asian world champion captures the heart and imagination of the boxing public because of his ferocity inside the ring beating bigger, tougher and more skilled boxers of his time.this was in the 1920′S and steroids werent known then.then in the 50s came another small guy.. the great filipino boxer GABRIEL FLASH ELORDE… who again fascinates boxing fans with his skills and ferocity inside thr ring.. steroids still werent an issue then.so,it isnt impossible for a small, little guy to be a world champion by beating bigger , tougher, skillful boxers.and just because he;s been doing the same thing doesnt mean he;S A CHEAT. IT MAY BE THAT HE IS JUST AN EXCEPTIONAL ONCE IN A LIFETIME ATHLETE who achieved so much because of hardwork, and dedication to the sport he loves. and to accuse manny pacquiao of steroids use today is a great injustice to to all small,,little guys who would want to have a great carreer in boxing!

everyone knows who made the acusations on Pacman. I guess you’re one of those guys who got tired of eating crow and now you’re jumping into this whole ped thing. Pacquiao never tested positive for anything following the existing guidelines of the sports commissions. You can’t change the rules just because some guy said so. Usually Franny I can overlook your arguments, but this one was a tad bit extreme, even you have to admit.

Lets say Fran for the sake of argument, Pac is perhaps cheating, not is, but perhaps. Is he bad for boxing as you claim in your piece? I think the answer is a resounding NO.

What you fail to percieve is that Pac, within the world of Boxing is exactly what the sport needs, and the only sport that could do what he has done is boxing. First Martel, Pac has generated perhaps over 500 million dollars capital across the world on his name alone. Where else could a lil philipino kid become a cross over star except in the world of boxing. Football, baseball, and basketball are all state side phenomenoms, but Pac and the boxing are a GLOBAL phenomenon. Now again Martel, based upon that alone, can you honestly claim Pac is bad for the sport of boxing? Please address this if you are any kind of fan of the sport, and not just an agitator.
