WEEKEND WRAP OF BOXING AND MMA FEATURING ROBERT GUERRERO
San Francisco, CA- The one-hour Sunday edition of “Ring Talk Boxing & MMA” differs from the Saturday show in that we combine boxing and the UFC into a one-hour package, while the Saturday show is two hours long with an hour on boxing and the the other hour on MMA. On this particular show we were joined by Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero, and we talked about his WBC welterweight (147 lbs) fght in July. In addition, Robert expressed his views as to whether or not he thought that the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight, if it ever happens, will be a competetive fight! “The Ghost” accused one of the two or fighting behind “Smoke & Mirrors.” Listen and let the darts fly!

BOXING HOUR FEATURES FRIDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENTER KARIM MAYFIELD
San Francisco, CA- Having to regugatate the Floyd Mayweather-Miguel Cotto was part of the opening of the one-hour of the “Ring Talk Boxing Hour.” There are people that either had an orgasm or thought the Maywether-Cotto fight was close, again just some of the usual Mayweather detractors. Unbeaten jr. welterweight Karim Mayfield (12-0-1, 9 KOs) talked about his upcoming “Friday Night Fights” main event on ESPN 2 against the also unbeaten Robert Serrano (18-0, 8 KOs) Articulate to a fault, Karim was a great guest and if everything is square, will lick Serrano like a stamp! San Francisco, CA- If you know anything about fresh-water fish, you know that a trout is a fish that is not big, but it sure tastes great. If you know Austin Trout, the current WBA 154 lb. champion, a southpaw out of New Mexico, while he may seem calm like a trout, truth be told he’s a junior middleweight piranha in search of prey in the squared circle of boxing. A 2004 Olympic alternate, Trout is now 24-0, 14 KOs and will take on Delvin Rodriguez on June 2 on a Showtime card emanating from the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Austin was my “main event” guest on the Saturday edition of the “Ring Talk Boxing Hour,” along with boxing writer Socrates Palmer of BoxingTalk.com To listen to the show now click READ MORE…

THE “RING TALK RADIO” BOXING HOUR
San Francisco, CA- With three months gone of the 2012 professional boxing season, writer Kevin Perry and host Pedro Fernandez discussed the happenings of boxing’s first quarter. We went over the “robbery” or “heist,” whichever you prefer to call the Gabriel Campillo-Tavoris Cloud match six weeks ago, and the lack of class Cloud displayed after being given what amounts to a “winning lottery ticket,” seeing he got licked like a stamp. On the “Ring Talk Radio Boxing Hour,” also went into the “stench” that is the Texas Athletic Commission, run by “Tricky Dickie” Cole. While I’m just touching on some of the subjects covered, you can listen to the entire one hour boxing edition of the longest running fight show in history. To LISTEN NOW READ MORE…

March 6th, 2012 By Pedro Fernandez
SUNDAY ONE HOUR SHOW WAS 50-50!
San Francisco, CA- When the “special” Sunday edition of “Ring Talk Boxing & MMA” aired, the guests were the human MMA encyclopedia Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (www.WrestlingObserver.com) and our own esteemed boxing writer Kevin Perry. Unlike Saturday’s where we air both an hour on boxing and an hour on MMA, when we put forth a “special” Sunday show it is because major fights, be it MMA or boxing had taken place after our 11 AM PT starting time on Saturday. Perry, although he is at times cautious with his verbiage, can hammer people with both hands when it’s appropriate. Meltzer on the other hand is a friggen genius on MMA. To listen READ MORE…
