ARTURO GATTI BURIED TODAY

Montreal, Canada- Having dealt with death more often than I’d like to admit, it takes me a while to emotionally react to it. 
This may have a lot to do with the training one receives in a California Police Officers Standards & Training (POST) law enforcement academy. If the training achieves its goal, you react to death or mayhem in a calm professional manner. It’s later, maybe that night when you’re driving home, that you realize somebody died, a human life had ended.

That being said, I didn’t feel a wave of emotion come over me until I saw photos of Arturo Gatti’s funeral procession. The finality of death, the picture of Gatti’s hearse nearly broke me down. And while his wife, the only suspect in Gatti’s death, Amanda R. Gatti sits in a Brazilian jail, his family, friends, and fans remember the 37-year old father of two as a decent human being.
Lets hope she stays in Jail but I have a feeling she has greased a few palms in order to make he escape.
He was a father of two (he had a daughter with another woman, who his ex-wife REFUSED to let him see, due to jealousy).
