AMIR KHAN TO APPEAR ON “RING TALK”
PAKASTANNI-BRIT TO TALK FLOYD MAYWEATHER & MORE
San Francisco, CA– It appears Amir Khan will get the next fight with Floyd Mayweather. Training with Virgil Hunter of Andre Ward fame in the SF Bay Area, Khan has amazing skills for it was he whom many Brits felt would go on a Oscar De la Hoya-like run. After winning and losing championships at 140, Khan is now a welterweight and will fight Mayweather at 147 lbs.
FEW HAVE THE HANDS OF AMIR KHAN
People crack on Khan and say he has a bad chin. The same could have been said of Wladimir Kitschko, whom a lot of people wrote off after 3 chin-checking losses. But in came the late Emanuel Steward as trainer and Wlad hasn’t lost since early 2004. I was of the opinion that Khan was weight drained at 140 and that 147 and Hunter’s guidance give him a better shot of beating Floyd Mayweather than any of the guys he has fought in a long time.
